PhD Management

The main purpose of a PhD program is to prepare students for a scientific career, be it in an academic environment of a university or in other research institutions. The well-founded methodological training of the PhD program in Management enables graduates to analyze complex problems in various fields using modern scientific methods.

Particularly successful and committed graduates of social sciences and economics (graduates of the University of Vienna are of course preferred) are offered the opportunity to write a dissertation closely related to the research focus of the Chair of Marketing. In addition to the requirements for a diploma thesis, a dissertation must demonstrate that the candidate has acquired the ability to deal with scientific problems independently. An essential component of a dissertation is the achievement of an independent scientific performance that is conducive to scientific progress.
